Broward County Main Library- ReRoof

This project consisted of the roof replacement of the Broward County Main Library, in downtown Ft. Lauderdale. The project scope included an entire roof system replacement, new metal coping system, edge metal, scuppers, counter flashing, roof drain system refurbishment & lightening protection. Critical Construction Operation included demolition of the existing system, dry-in and installation of new torch down system. The owner occupied the premises during the entire period of construction. Work performed at night, to minimize the operations of the library were utilized to effectively allow for the conduct of normal operations to Broward County's busiest library location.

Palm Tran North and South Bus Lifts

This project consisted of the removal of five existing heavy duty vehicle bus lifts, within the two listed Palm Tran locations in Palm Beach County. The project consisted of removal of the existing bus lift equipment, demolition of the existing concrete & structures, retrolift of electrical & plumbing systems and installation of new bus lifts with ECO 60-13 in ground axle engaging vehicle lifts. Environmental issues were addressed with soil testing, contamination precautions and removal of existing soils & fluids. 

Jose Marti Middle School-Exterior Improvements

This project consisted of removal of delaminating stucco of all exterior walls causing hazardous conditions on the entire campus. Phased scheduling occurred, addressing safety as our primary concern while students occupied the campus during construction. The project included scaffold and staging for access, demolition, removal, remediation, preparation, application of new stucco and elastomeric finishes. 

4300 Biscayne Departments- Relocation

This fast track project was a 90-day completion to build out suitable office space for the relocation of the entire Miami-Dade County Public Schools Educational Facilities Compliance Department. Approximately 20,000 sf of bare warehouse was converted Class A office space including all new electrical, mechanical, plumbing, partition walls, flooring, finishes, fire sprinkles, phone, data & IT system. 

Main Courthouse West Garage- Demolition

This project consisted of the demolition of the demolition of the multi-story parking garage building, the facilities & maintenance building along with the Plaza & Skywalk complex located in the west side of the Broward County Courthouse in preparation for the construction of the new state of the art LEED certified Courthouse building. Included in the scope of work was the demolition of structures, temporary & permanent construction fencing, MOT, HVAC disconnect, electrical terminations, fire sprinkler terminations and renovations at the end of Skyway. Plumbing terminations & sewer cap, demolition & removal of FPL ductbanks were included along with decommissioning of the elevator system in the parking garage structure.
